About Lofoten Safari
Lofoten Safari is a complete provider of culture-based adventures in the Lofoten Islands.

The company was established in 1990 by journalist, photographer and author Frank A Jenssen, and can boast of over 30 years of experience in the travel and tourism business.
As a complete provider of culture-based adventures, our aim is to focus on the authentic aspects of Lofoten. Not only will you take part in fun and exciting activities, but our trips are also seasoned with important historical information about Lofoten. We also focus on culinary experiences based on local ingredients from this magical island realm.
We make tailor-made arrangements based on the customer’s needs and requirements, and provide assistance to individuals, groups of any size and businesses.
You will find Lofoten Safari in unique surroundings in Henningsvær, more precisely at Lofoten House (Lofotens Hus), a renovated fish factory dating back to 1930. The building comprises 1500 square metres of floor space and contains the following:
- A large and unique art exhibition featuring Lofoten’s most renowned painters, and which is also referred to as Northern Norway’s national gallery.
- A cinema theatre screening a multimedia show on the hour and every half hour, including photographs of Lofoten and a special northern lights film.
- Lofoten’s Country Store – a shop retailing unique articles from Lofoten.
- The Saltbingen Bar and Restaurant, serving amongst other things Henningsvær Tapas, based on ingredients from Lofoten.
Lofoten House is located in a quayside warehouse from where we offer daily fishing trips, kayaking, RIB safaris and lots more during the summer.
Adventures in Lofoten are waiting in line. Whether you are traveling on business, or with friends or family, we will help you create unique and memorable experiences.
We create Lofoten memories for life!
